This unique sukajan jacket is reborn from an early Showa-era haori featuring the traditional Fukuju Kai komon pattern.

The finely detailed wave motifs shimmer subtly with hints of pink and blue depending on the angle of light, reflecting the deep elegance characteristic of lacquer-dyeing techniques popular during that period. The fabric carries a quiet richness and atmospheric depth that can only be achieved through time.

Created with the intention of preserving this rare textile for future generations, the jacket combines antique kimono craftsmanship with modern design. Contemporary black fabric is intentionally used for the sleeves, enhancing the beauty of the original pattern while giving the piece a clean, modern contrast.
